    Thanks for that, Shawn. :)

Yeah, I did miss it. I glance at the prior lock screen to see if it's ready, then my eyes are focused on the numerical keypad hitting one key to rid the lock screen and then sign in with a pin. Zoom.....

this build seems pretty stable, so far - apart from the (usual) WMP glitches..
some older games (DX9) will only run in windowed mode - Dungeon Siege 2 for example..
I guess MS and/or AMD will get round to fixing this at some point - they've probably got more important things to worry about, at the mo'

    Wynona

Hi! You were pleasant to me when I barged in a week ago and posted off topic on this forum. I still don't know where to post this but I found a solution to the "class not registered" issue which has been occurring in WMP since 16215.

At the recommendation of a poster at the "windows feedback hub" (who said the issue had to do with a 32 bit as compared to 64 bit EXE file in WMP) I changed the ownership of the WMP exe file in the X86 version of WMP to get access to it then deleted it and replaced the version I just deleted with the WMP exe file I copied from next door in Program files/Windows media player. FLAC files now play in WMP when I double click on them without WMP being pinned to the taskbar and left open. Also, WMP is once again my default player for FLAC files.

    I hope this makes sense.

Thanks to all for putting up with me and their assistance.
