Thanks for asking that, Count. I thought maybe that was it. I checked my settings and they are as they've always been. I use full screen with extra tiles. I changed it to "Desktop mode" to no avail. The problem still persists. Just a bug on this machine I guess.

Just a WAG here, but did you try yanking the task bar down to the bottom?

Not getting that error if I open from the file or WMP.

@HippsieGypsie Are you using the ASUS laptop with Intel HD Graphics, Tony? What happens if you turn transparency off in settings, personalisation, colors? One of my desktop systems looks similar to that in your post.

I posted a screen yesterday on this thread for the start menu transparency "acrylic blur" not working with Intel HD graphics - just total crystal clear transparency, and white labels:

Transparency blur works OK with taskbar and title bars, but totally absent in Start menu.
Yes I saw your shot you posted. No. I'm on the tower listed as my primary PC in my specs. I have transparency turned on and works well. The "acrylic blur" doesn't work very well, even on my Creators partition.

Thanks, Fisher Mann, but the All apps is the way it's suppose to be as I posted later.

Edit: Glad you mentioned that. My Taskbar is set to auto hide and this is the first build in which it does so upon boot. It does hide on others, but sticks open at boot.

The error occurs when opening the file directly from the music folder and without having open WMP and WMP should not be in the background.

I finally did it, 15063 to 16237 using the ISO. Couldn't do it using Windows Update, with 15GB of free space the SoftwareDistribution folder would go up to 10GB and the install would fail during the Preparation phase.

It took 90-100 minutes on a HDD, was 30-40 minute slower than the builds before Creators Update.

After using it for a few hours the only issue i have is the Mail app, it doesn't sync anything, gmail, yahoo.. doesn't work at all..

To both of you > I've been using what was then "Modern" apps back then to what was changed to "Store" apps and now officially Universal Windows Platform apps since inception in W8 along with a Windows phone. LOL, hopefully they won't change it again. I've seen these apps get better with added features through time and builds. I've come to the conclusion that for the most part the sync problem is on the MS servers side rather than sometimes a broken app. MS really needs to get this right.

You may want to try these, but doubtful it'll help.

@Fafhrd Got to thinking about your problem. Here's how I have my settings just for info's sake. I use Bing Desktop app for background daily change, which of course changes theme colors. I'll start with my Desktop. These are shrunk to 50%.

Yes, Music folder then right click file and select ' Play with Windows Media Player'. It then opens WMP and plays. I still have Groove a default though.
