Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16237 PC for Fast ring Insider

Sleep seems to be working again on both desktops. Surprised me when I went back into my office and found both asleep---either that or both died.
That's good to hear. Based on this not being a much more widely-reported issue, some, maybe most, wouldn't have ever seen it. It sounds like you've migrated to that camp. I just wish we had the slightest idea what the variables were so that I could join you.

I have seen elsewhere that Samsung Magician may cause upgrade issues - I don't use it so I can't verify it.
I removed it and it made no difference.

- all done and dusted..

I think I mentioned to you in the last build thread that my D3d-related API gaming fixes are almost all fixed now. Believe me when I say that the bug fixes mentioned specifically in the "what's fixed" section relate to a fraction of the bugs that they find and fix with each build. In fact, all of the bugs I've reported have been fixed in latter builds, but only one bug I reported has been mentioned in "What's fixed for PC." If they listed every bug they'd fixed the report would be many pages longer. In the interests of their time and ours, I think, they mention only what they consider "mainstream" fixes.
Yeah, I'd seen that you said your issues had been fixed. Mine still haven't, unfortunately, at least on an upgrade install. I finally just bit the bullet and did a clean install with this new build. I'll get to testing gaming once I'm off work. Got my fingers crossed that I can enter buildings in GTA again without the GraphicsPerfSvc service stopping and restarting which causes graphics to hang.

First Insider with a custom Picard Build!

Still no timed sleep in this build (that makes the fourth consecutive one).
Hiberfil.sys is still created upon install, disregarding the state of hibernation ("powercfg -h off" to fix, again).
Hibernate continues to be unchecked on my system.
-
I removed it and it made no difference.
I went through this with Acronis True Image - first there is an issue - then there is no issue - then there is.
-
Another secret, silent update. I turn my back for a couple of hours and the update is done and booted. I could get used to this.
-
Hibernate continues to be unchecked on my system.
Hibernate unchecked and having the hiberfil.sys aren't quite the same. If you have the box unchecked, then you probably still have the file there, otherwise the option wouldn't be there.
Powercfg /a
to check.
