Your hiberfil.sys come back? Mine did!!!!

    It did indeed.
No wonder that partition was filling up fast (35Gb). WU cleverly put part of the update on the D: partition were I found some of the files needed to make the ISO.
I'll enlarge my C: partition by 10 Gig just to be safe for the next updates.

All in all it worked out well. Off to bug chasing now....

    Cheers,

Yeah I was reading that. Kinda bogged at 61% then shot up to 66% then cruised along again. At the historical 75% now. 35 minutes into it.
Then it'll jump to ~82. creep up to 97, then

    Hi!

Well, I'll give it a shot, but since there's nothing in the release notes about gaming fixes, I'm not hopeful that I'll be able to stay on it.
I think I mentioned to you in the last build thread that my D3d-related API gaming fixes are almost all fixed now. Believe me when I say that the bug fixes mentioned specifically in the "what's fixed" section relate to a fraction of the bugs that they find and fix with each build. In fact, all of the bugs I've reported have been fixed in latter builds, but only one bug I reported has been mentioned in "What's fixed for PC." If they listed every bug they'd fixed the report would be many pages longer. In the interests of their time and ours, I think, they mention only what they consider "mainstream" fixes.

That's where mine is at present--i just checked to see if I had the upgrade and found it stuck on 97%--15 minutes later, it was still there. Have no idea how long it's been there though.

Edit: 10 minutes later--it's now ready...so I'll sign off for awhile...
