There's stuff clearly borked with WMP! The Preview Renderer doesn't even land inside the Preview Pane!

There is also things that aren't Registering with WMP.
Before, if you turned Off WMP in Features, you would be prompted to reboot, then, turning it back on again, same - reboot.
Then, when you opened WMP fresh, you would get a prompt to use 'Recommended Settings' or other, etc.
Now, none of that happens at all.

A simple question: why does Microsoft release an ISO always before a bug bash week, like now last time the 16193 ISO? Doesn't that indicate that they are more interested in bug bashing, finding what's wrong with Windows and its apps, than about how you got it installed? They seem to consider a clean installer also as an Insider.

They release those ISO images so that as many Insiders as possible could participate in bug bash and provide feedback.

First: there should be no need to download warez ISO images. Only requirement for making your own ISO is the ability to read and follow instructions.

Second: A fact is, sorry to say, that our fellow American geeks often completely disregard the fact that not all of us use US English Windows; those freely available ISO images on various warez sites usually only contain US English (and Russian) language version. Usually seeing those links here there's no mention about language, as if it was obvious to the poster that all Insiders and our members alike naturally need a US English ISO.

OK, then. Back to the stuff I mentioned in my earlier posts: If some of those members criticizing us "clean installers" and "ISO makers" could please explain to me what is the authority your critic is based on?

I don't want to criticize anyone or call them wrong and myself correct. I just want to express my opinion of the way I see it. MS does not release a ISO at the same time as every build because they want to test the method they chose to deliver the updates. Be it ESD or UUP. As far as I know MS didn't release a MS version of the ESD to ISO or UUP to ISO. If I'm wrong about that I do apologize. MS releases a ISO of a build when they want to do a bug bash because they want every Insider possible to be able to participate. Do I think MS is going to get upset if someone uses a ISO to either upgrade or do a clean install? The answer is no. They just want us to at least try their method of updating first. Again this is only my opinion of how I see it. I don't see myself as being right and others wrong. It's just the way I, myself see it.

I share that! My insider machine was once a W7/W8 free upgraded to W10 not yet a clean install. Never had the urge to use an .iso. Does not mean I disrespect any one who needs/uses an .iso for what ever they want. I have never had any problems with the exception of 3rd part apps that made things difficult on these insider builds. :)

Well, I had to check out what you all were saying about music and video. I find that only the apps that windows wants you to use will play -- from within the video, it is moves and tv app and for music it is Groove music app. When I open WMP, it will play music and videos but - as you say - not from within video or music folders. Strange.

I'm not sure of the actual number but I do know that I've had to use ISO's to either do clean installs or repair installs. I try to make a ISO of every build. Never know if or when it may be needed. :)
