Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16232 PC + 15228 Mobile Insider
-
Two people have now convinced me to take down the link to the 16232 ISO on my personal OneDrive. It's been up for two days so I;m supposing people who needed it downloaded it already. Maybe somebody at Microsoft (even our Dora) can actually address many of our concerns regarding the use of ISO's for installing testing builds. The next time I obtain an ISO created by Kari's admirable UUPtoISO program I'll invite PMs for the link

Doesn't Ctrl + Shift + T work on Edge ?
Yes it does.
-
As I also had minor issues with Start tiles (tile right click menu not shown), I booted to Command Prompt and deleted %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\InetCache folder which usually resolves most Edge issues, and %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\UserClass.dat file which usually resolves Start / Search / Cortana issues.
Back to desktop, both Edge > Re-open closed tab and tile context menus working again.
Cool.
Thanks for those, Kari.

Most kind of you, Marty. :)

Marty, that was nice of you to do that. No criticism intended, but I believe the Admins would prefer that to be handled on a request basis, and thru a PM from/to the member asking. I've only seen it posted publicly one other time, and that was after the poster had gotten the OK from the head Admin. I may be wrong, but that's what I recall.

I noticed, whatever image file you click on, it no longer says "Set as Desktop Background"; instead:

..... except in Windows Photo Gallery!

Works from Windows Photo Viewer too.

Perhaps I should have done that an if a Brink PM's me about I'll apologize. Who I did ask permission from was the member who kindly sent me a link to his copy of the ISO. He gave permission to post gladly.
I don't want to tread on anybody's toes here. Basically I feel Microsoft itself should be doing this and posting each release ISO on the official Insiders web page. As it is today - and I didn't check because I;m busy - I believe the latest "official" ISO is build 16193. I'll go even further. If Microsoft doesn't post each ISO they release (but then supposedly they see fit to "inflict" it on us, then Wzor's site should be considered semi-official IMHO. Many people won't touch "warez" sites but Wzor been doing a great public service for many years now. His is the only site you can find Combo ISO with all (or I guess most) of the Windows 10 flavors. Enough said at 2:30 AM and with a fresh re-install of 16232 because it would not reboot after an excursion in Sid

IMHO, MS doesn't release the ISO at the same time as the new builds is so they can test the new way of updating/upgrading the OS. They're not really inflicting anything on us. We volunteered to be testers.
