On my system the Alt keys work in Edge (but not in Firefox) and the feedback page. No response in Word, Excel, Outlook, Notepad (or other text editors.)
Samples generated with Alt codes ¤°—
    I'm typing this in Edge.

    Edit:
When I started the capture (for feedback) while typing into Word I found that hitting Enter after entering the Alt code inserted the character. But not in Notepad++.
Skype Classic, The Alt code character appears after pressing Ctrl+Enter.
Yep, I switched to Edge and my ° works, but not here in Firefox! Sheesh . . . but I do need to test Edge, since it's been awhile. I'll see if it's gotten any better.

Cant seem to install preview build 16232.1000 on top on 16212 build on my insider PC.
It downloads fine via windows update then installs to 100% and requires restart when i press restart now it just restarts to windows 10 without upgrading. In windows upgrade history there is record that shows update requires a restart to finish installing but no matter how many times i restart it doesn't trigger install.

Installed build 16232 yesterday well and this morning it still fine but around noon when I came back and woke up the computer it wasn't fine anymore, the computer was very slow so, I decided to reboot it to never come back alive again.

I tried everything I know and some more tips I found and nothing, after 7 hours of trying I gave up and "Back to Previous Version" and blocked this build, now I am back in business and waiting for the next one.

I see the same in About/Notepad, but when I run winver it has an expiration date; 05/12/2017 (I use d/m/y date format)

What version of SMB RP2 running OMSC uses.. I have heard that MS want to remove SMB v1 from windows due to vulnerabilities.
You can try to to look at Turn Windows features on or off in Control panel>Programs is SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support selected?
