When I tried Hyper-V it got stuck at 97% installed (before the first reboot). Very frustrating. I am downloading a 16232 and will how Hyper-V behaves after I do a clean install on my physical machine. I'm working now in Siduction and have a boatload of 16226 VMware and Virtualbox VM that I try updating.

Host machine is old and ailing but it has i5, and the disk used is relatively fast 7,200 RPM WD disk, Internet connection 100/20 Mbps.[/QUOTE]

    16232

Installed in an hour and 10 minutes without any mishap. Long pause at 66%, 75%, 76%, 77% and 97%. Did not have to fool with .Net Framework. All seems OK so far.

    The Edge is still edgy.

Whenever I try to use the pen or highlighter, the pen icon never renders. It's always a "loading" blue circle.

Plus I don't see myself using this...
Same here with the blue circle. I guess the thumbnail bar or whatever it's called is kind of a visual thing. I pretty much remember what I have open until it gets to be too many tabs and what order. It may help there. I use Ctrl/1, 2 , etc to focus tabs.

On my system the Alt keys work in Edge (but not in Firefox) and the feedback page. No response in Word, Excel, Outlook, Notepad (or other text editors.)

    I'm typing this in Edge.
Thanks for that. Same here. Weird.

I have noticed different people have different issues with these builds. I realize there are a lot of variables to be considered, but I wonder if we all get the same "exact" build. Yes, the build number is the same, but could there be different "versions" of the build for different groups of Insiders.

That depends a lot on how much negative feedback you give.

Joking.... all are the same, except the language factor. Seen a lot of issues with different languages and Edge and other stuff.

One less thing to wonder about - I think the Edge browser may be the worst thing MS has come up with since like forever man.

It's interesting to watch the Edge vs IE processes in Task Manager.

Looked up Runtime Broker: runtime broker windows 10 - Bing

And wow! When I opened a second tab (Ctrl/T) in IE, Cortana via Bing (my home page) wished me an animated Happy Birthday wish.

Press make a wish button and got another animation.

Unca Tony is what my nieces and nephews call me. It's what I have Cortana calling me since I don't want an intimate relationship with her.
And a happy birthday to you, yesterday I think!

Installed okay in about 40 minutes.
Seems okay; haven't seen anything new to rave about.
