    Seems stuck on 76%, but there's still lots of drive activity. I don't get concerned unless that stops. :)

    Sorry

    Restart, but UUP to ISO first....
    All my screwing around here I deleted the post right after you quoted it - I have .iso made but stuck at 77% - seems I do many things, I screw them up, and I move on.

    What? UUP to ISO tool does in no way affect or change your Insider ring settings.

    You can make an ISO while install in progress? Maybe I'll try that.
    have no idea if that is what stalled the install or not - at least I have an .iso to install from if needed

    No you can't. You have to wait until upgrade is completely downloaded and initialized, telltale being the Restart now button. When it's shown, first then can you make the ISO.

    Trying it before that will always fail.

    @Kari,

    You are mixing two totally different things. Especially your earlier post could only be understood as that UUPtoISO process / using the tool switches you to slow ring:

    I think that you mean that after a clean install, the ring is by default set to Slow. That, of course, has nothing to do with UUPtoISO.
