Let it sit there - mine took about 25 minutes at 77%. Go find something else to look at.

Did this update while I was mowing the lawn. Downloaded, rebooted, updated, and booted into the OS by the time I came back. 2nd update now without a problem but before that I had to cold load an .iso for the previous two updates (as they would get all the way to the end and then roll back.)
EDIT: If you error out, the only way I was able to overcome this was a cold load from an .iso. Seems I am over the hump now.

With your specs, and that timing, that would give you about a 1 acre lot. +/- :)

72 min to login. Not bad.

The folder security changes to Defender are interesting, not to mention timely. Will have a look at this soon.

I just saw that. Adding OneDrive comes to mind as one I would consider adding.

Wonder how MS defines "Unfriendly"? PUPs? Apps doing PUMs?

I wondered that too. Just tried writing to my folder protected images using Picasa and that was OK. No surprise but had to check!

Added my NAS Public folder as well in the hope that would provide some protection for backups etc.

I've been waiting for this build to download for 2 hours now, and "Downloading updates" just dropped from 81% back down to 23%, so I'll probably be waiting a couple more.
