Five and a half hours to the first restart. This is beyond a joke.

Wow, rarely I had so much trouble updating but it's finally done. After relatively fast preparation and download when restarted nothing happened, it just simply booted to 226 without any explanation. That happened few times in a row so I almost gave up, "Restart now" was present all the time. Finally something happened and it prepared to install again but even than it wouldnt install. Decided to try to make ISO again and this time it worked !!! Mounted it on a USB stick and it finally updated.
All of that on clean install of 226 and system without any errors.

Three hours after upgrade was found:

I can see that Modern Setup Host (= upgrade) is working all the time but I guess I still have to wait an hour or two.

Education x64 and Enterprise x64 both updated without issues - put an image of Professional x64 '226 back on drive and will give it another try - needed .iso last night.

75-76-77% it does a ton of disk I/O. Then, bops along up to 92%, churns for a while, and pleasantly says "Hi!"....... you're almost there.

For some reason, Task manager was empty while update was running, now it works again.

Yes. Modern Setup Host was running flat out with me too. This UUP upgrade process is the pits.

Both my Alt keys are disabled in this build (16232) with both my Wireless Microsoft Ergonomic 7000 keyboard and a generic USB wired keyboard that I have.
Nothing about this problem in the list of Known Issues.
Googling hasn't given me a working solution (yet.)
Anyone else have this problem and better still have a solution?

They were busted in 16226, also. ALT + "anything" does nothing.... even the dumb alt+0176 won't give °. Only HTML code will.
