Microsoft Inspire is just over a week away. Are you getting ready? Are you getting excited? We definitely are. So just like us, you should be sure to double check your travel arrangements, download the Know Before You Go guide and get the mobile app to make sure you’re ready to get the most out of your convention experience.
Here are some helpful tips and reminders to help you hit the ground running in Washington, D.C.
Review the Know Before You Go Guide
Your first day at an event like Microsoft Inspire can either make or break the experience. To help everything go according to plan, we’ve compiled a helpful Know Before You Go guide which provides great travel tips, check-in details, shuttle schedules and so much more.

The convention is going to be jam packed with amazing sessions and meeting opportunities that will bring the Microsoft Partner Network to life for you and your company. Use it to familiarize yourself with the Microsoft Inspire venues, access international travel support, navigate check-in, and provide tips for getting around town. It even has a chapter on where you can grab a bite to eat. Give it a read through before you leave, and you’ll know just what to expect from the moment you arrive.
Download the Mobile App
The mobile app will be your go-to resource when you are in Washington, D.C. at Microsoft Inspire. It allows you to manage your personal agenda, find and connect with attendees, read session details, submit feedback, and even access interactive venue and show floor maps.
New this year, you’ll be able to see which attendees you’re connected to on LinkedIn from the app. If you haven’t already, be sure to add your LinkedIn account information to your profile on MyInspire so you can take advantage of this new feature. To do so, log in to MyInspire, select the “Networking” tab in the navigation, and click “My Profile.” From there, add your LinkedIn profile URL in the indicated field and click “update profile.”
Key features of the app include:
- My Conference – Create your own personal agenda by favoriting sessions, speakers, attendees, and exhibitors.
- Session Scheduler – View and search the full conference session list.
- Microsoft Central – Find the groups and partners you most want to meet with at Microsoft Inspire.
- Conference Resources – Find important event information and read about key event highlights to enhance your on-site experience.
- Interactive Maps – Find your way around the venue.
- Networking – Search the attendee directory, message other attendees, send meeting requests, and even connect on LinkedIn.
