According to this thread, it breaks the browsers, except for Edge.

KB4022716 Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer - Windows 10 Forums
After installing this update Vivaldi was messed up a little, opening several tabs upon starting and the homepage had reverted back to the Vivaldi site; as well my Search engine setting had reverted back to the default. Had to go through the process of resetting everything twice before all was well.

For me, this update switched Edge browser almost completely to english (which is not my language), on 2 other machines happened exactly the same thing. Funny...

    In Settings/System/Notification and actions....

...they are mysteriously turning themselves on and off. I left it as is and came back and some were back to off and others were on. Now went to check on privacy (all seems okay) and went back and everything is set to on. Wacky stuff.
...Yeah at least for me the system notification and actions is hosed. It is not holding settings and changing them as it wishes.
I wonder, are they actually all turned on, or are they just being misreported as being on?

I find they show as being turned on, but that turning the global 'Get notifications from apps and other senders' off then turning it back on again shows my correct current choice of notifications. I can then change notifications for individual apps and this seems to stick if I close Settings and return later (after a global ON/OFF refresh, of course). Also, without this 'refresh' trick, if you turn off one notification many others get turned off at the same time (a partial refresh to their 'true' values?).

I think it's the initial search for what's 'on' that's broken (notice the whirling dots while it populates the list) but the underlying settings are as you set them.

Anyone actually seen un-asked for notifications yet? I haven't.

I ran a check for updates this afternoon and found this one. Download and installation completed successfully in about 45 minutes and everything seems to be OK; no problem with Firefox. Based on Bree's last post, I checked Notifications and all senders showed as on; the global on/off did reset them to original values, but when I close and then return to Settings, all senders appear on again. Turning an individual sender off after the global reset does turn off other senders as well, but for me the changes don't seem to stick. But I have not seen unasked-for notifications, either.

This update completely broke my sound. Its stuttering like crazy.. Uninstalled the update and same problem. Reinstalled Realtek drivers, same problem.
Clean install seems the only solution and excluding this update. This sucks big time.

This update seems to be causing issues with Comodo Firewall. Login is slower & event viewer is full of the builtin apps crashing in Comodo's guard64.dll. Only thing that solved it for me was removing KB4022716
Not sure if I'm right but last time my PC was messed up and I had to clean install everything again was because of either Comodo Firewall or Avast so be careful cause I think Windows 10 updates does not like non Windows security :)

Oh yeah and the browser problem ppl are having is not happening to me! Firefox, Edge and Chrome are all alright!

Well after CU Firefox does seem a little slow but it's not a big problem.

Has this update been pulled? It showed up on one of my systems early Wednesday morning but I delayed installing it and it is no longer showing up on either of my two systems.

It looks like it has been pulled from Windows Update. It is not showing up in there, in the Windows Update MiniTool, or is it indicated by my ESET NOD32 AV which shows when an update is available.
