    Found the issue, had to temporarily uninstall Comodo Cloud AntiVirus

    I wasn't looking for any major update today only one for Windows Defender so when I clicked on Check for Updates I was surprised to see something more substantial coming in. But the first try of installing gave me an error message about a problem occurring and saying we'll try again later. I clicked Try Again and it went without trouble.
