Be very careful, Maverick! I bought one of those "32 GB Drive" jobbies last week. After the second one refused to boot while trying to install Build 16226, I had to take it back. Nothing worked to get it going again. Got a replacement, and then the exact same thing happened to it too, so now I don't have one of those any more. I used a 1 TB external drive, but that didn't work either! Evidently, I got access to something I shouldn't have.

I'm surprised that my 32GB "jobbie" does so well. :) Currently on W10AU

Mine did well up to that point too, Meebers. It was when I tried to let Build 16226 install that it went belly up.

Did yours come with Office 365 Personal installed? That one took up some 882 MB of my hard drive space.

I bought mine from the MS store (a MS special edition??) (Asus T100TAF) and it did come with office for 1 year. I did not renew and uninstalled it. Office type stuff I do on my desk top, bigger screen etc.

Lots of discussions on most forums might be called "absurd," but Kari was simply poking a bit of fun at himself. Life without a bit of humor every now and then is certainly an absurdity, imo. It baffles me how people allow themselves to be agitated by the personal opinions of others. Kari was talking only about Kari, and nobody else. No need for people to be up in arms at all, imo.

Fun? Excuse me sir but I find nothing funny in my relationship with women (all of them!). Fear, yes, horror and dismay, yes, but nothing even remotely funny!

    Extremely serious,

    Kari

Oh my goodness. Get over it people. It was a passing lighthearted comment, at least on my part.

And thus starts the inevitable men bashing, or self deprecating. As if there isn't enough on tv programs, commercials and the movies. Men are not simpler things, in fact it's quite the opposite. And women and men can be simple, or can be very intelligent. Why anyone would take such a comment to heart is what is absurd.

226 clean install and suddenly it started doing crazy things. Couldn't type in any browser's or chose bookmarks along with any system boxes. All stated after I got notice about WD not being on. Any running program would stop for few seconds and than continued running.
After running troubleshooting, WD worked but everything else went nuts. System checks came out clean so after all troubles i restored earlier MR backup of same version and now it's working but without WD again.
I posted a warning about that somewhere in the last 10 pages...

In short: most of the non-English (German, Spanish) languages have problems with this build.

Workaround is to uninstall any language but English and install one that isn't on the list...
