hiYour post was from the standard onscreen keyboard that has been in windows for years. If you click on taskbar, there is option to show the windows 10 touch screen keyboard in notification menu. If you enable that and click on it you get the simpler onscreen keyboard designed for tablets mostly.
You have option to select three different displays - basic, split and the standard keyboard. However latter is not enable be default.
In 15063, you can toggle it on from settings menus. In 16226, that switch no longer exists, and there is no option to toggle the standard keyboard any more. Thus I now have to use the older style keyboard which you display.
Kari,
Thanks for sharing your rather "robotic" love interests! A company in the states has come up with "The Perfect Woman for the Perfect Man." Advertising slogan, I know, but it seems apt as these people are basing their mail-order wives on an old US movie, The Stepford Wives. You should research the movie if you aren't already familiar with it. Anyway, just like Cortana, these women have no brains, essentially, and will do whatever you program them to do, and they'll be "eager to please day or night, rain or shine," or so goes the brochure. They come with several levels of conversation, from witty, urbane and intellectual, to *cough* other modes of alluring speech, and so on. Anyway, they're having a sale atm: only $9.95 + handling & shipping, includes bicycle tire pump and patches.
Let me know how it goes...!.. But be warned that Cortana might become jealous!...
I've never used the new Store app Sticky Notes before. I'm sure you've seen Insights in settings there? Type one of the below and a button appears.
Q: What insights are currently supported and how do I enable them in Sticky notes?
A: Here are some tips for creating insights:
•Type a phone number with dashes to make a call with Skype.
•Flights are best recognized with both the airline code and the flight number, such as BR26
•Stocks are recognized only when the ticker symbol is preceded with a dollar sign, such as $MSFT.
•Cortana reminders can be created when times are recognized, like 6pm, today, tomorrow, Saturday, next week, July, etc. Once a time is recognized, click Add Reminder.
•Start a list of items with bullets, dashes, or numbers to have it formatted as a list, which you can then modify, move around, and change the order of list items.
•Type an email address to see the option for sending email.
•Type a web address (URL) to see the option to open it in a browser.
•Type in a full (physical) address to see it on a map.
