Ummm, I think that's what I said, Josey.

I blame running Windows 10 insider builds on it.

If Insider Builds trash the motherboard/CPU, then it's the motherboard/CPU that's at fault, not the Insider Preview.

    There, I fixed it. :)

16226 installed on first try, took about 1:45 to do so. I am playing on superstition, I removed MWB Pro before 215 and removed MWB Free prior to this install, both without issue. Will put MWB free back on shortly. Image completed and now going to have a look around.

    Well......,

    been around this Build, inside and out, sideways and front ways;

and considering the pita it took to get it, I'm not impressed at all!

Not any better than the last iteration!

(It's beginning to make this whole Insider Program look like a foolish marketing scheme, (which it is!))
    - remember, Edwin, installing a complete OS is NOT the same as installing an app ..
    - we Insiders do it so often it's likely we are in danger of becoming a little blasé about it all..

    - installing a completely new (or upgraded) OS is bound to be a little more delicate..
    - in any case, it's not likely to be a common-place event in the real world (- as in outsider-land)

    - it's certainly not a marketing exercise - we volunteered our services to MS's tech team
    - just gotta keep sending in that Feedback..

I am finding this build runs perfectly well. I totally forgot about my Surface Pro 4. As soon as I clicked back on the fast ring and clicked update, it updated to 16226 like it was nothing. And runs very smoothly on it. I love this build. I have run all over it as well, and have found no problems with the things i do daily. It is the fastest to restart that I have had in a long while, and things snap up when I ask for them. Everyone's configs are a little different, and so our experiences are going to be different. But for me, this is the best build yet, on both of my devices.

Yes indeed if I had what you have it would have been perfect but I do not and not that many do. But no matter what you have MS should at least make so it will install.

Cortana is becoming pretty sophisticated with Services, Skills and interaction with many apps...

Does Cortana work for You, she would not for me.
I haven't yet tried Cortana. It doesn't interest me much but I'll give it shot - once I boot into Windows that is. I had to re-install Siduction because a hard disk connector I use to store Linux VMs got disconnected and the drive was in fstab. No problem with that re-install. Siduction is basically Debian 9 (Stretch) but it run Linux kernel 4.11 wonderfully and I have my VMware WS and Virtualbox VMs back.
Plenty of Windows 10 build 16215 to update.
