All betas appear "amateurish" at times, depending on what one is doing. They also appear incomplete and very buggy at times, too. It's the nature of the Insider's testing program--you may feel much more comfortable dropping out of the Insider's for awhile, because beta testing can be frustrating at times. It's a tribute to the nature of how relatively stable most builds have been overall lately, that you would actually expect them *not to be* "amateurish and buggy". That's what you should expect in the Insider's, though.
In the last couple of builds Microsoft has been adding a bunch of new features and so on--when that happens bugs multiply. Then, it takes a few more builds to quash the bugs. Rinse and repeat. It's the nature of this program, imo. Nothing wrong with it being frustrating, though! That is simply a normal reaction... I test with a lot of third-party software, so I see the bugs, too, no doubt about it.
