Try opening up the Device Manager, locating your keyboard drivers, and uninstalling them (do *not* remove them--just uninstall them.) Then reboot and see if that helps--they will reinstall automatically. All I can think of atm.
Thanks mate I tried that , and a different USB keyboard no dice. Had to roll back , all good now

Thanks much WALTC, worked like a charm. (I should have thought of it myself).

I had the same luck as you @Edwin the only thing that worked for me is described in my quoted post below and even then it took 3 tries.

After six failed attempts to upgrade from build 16215 and getting the error “Some updates were cancelled. We’ll keep trying in case new updates become available”ť and trying every conceivable solution then starting over Clean Installing the latest Windows Insider build 16193 released on the windows Insider site and again trying to update to 16226 I was finally successful on that third attempt.

After creating a Bootable USB and testing it I now have a Clean Install of build 16226 up and running.

@sneekez , I restored back to 16215 and trying the ISO I made right now by doing an in-place upgrade with it.

    *********UPDATE: *****************

    The ISO worked.
It only took 24mins to complete the update.

Hi badrobot...followed your lead and it worked here too. However the esd file on 215 wasn't 5721f7 but the iso was made with no errors and it upgraded without problem to 226. I wish now I would of written down the .esd number that was showing for the Professional esd file. Next time I'll try and pay more attention. Thank you again for your time!

I ignored the warning, focused on the word may, and charged ahead! Went right thru, and still have .net 3.5. Luck, I guess......
I did the same, Tomcat. No problems, this install on all 3 of my computers went without a problem. It did take a bit longer than prior builds. But so far I've had no problems.

Steam not launching or displaying in system tray.

(keyboard in start menu and metro apps not working)
(had to disable touch keyboard service - interfering with desktop)

    build seems half baked

Edge not opening after some time. It flashes. Recorded in Event logs. Saw others having problems as well in Feedback. Tried a few things to fix it to no avail.
