tsk. I stopped using acronis when they removed the ability to mount images and browse them.

also Im having problem here with a fresh windows 10 insider build in vm not upgrading to this build. tells me to reboot and it skips the upgrade and goes to the login screen.

cant convert uup to iso because I couldnt find the correct folder as nothing matched the instructions.....

Updated from 199 (skipped 215!) in 75min to SSD. All went well except for a problem with Chrome. It persisted in opening on my secondary monitor and couldn't be dragged back to the primary mon. The focus also went on and off.

However, after 25 min or so it came right. This seemed to coincide with the antimalware scan (only Defender on this comp) finishing.

Pretty strange but looks good now.

The change is subtle but I like it:

Almost sure the focus cycling problem is associate with the hidden ctfmon.exe process, but how to disable ctfmon.exe. Unable to rename, requires permission from Trusted Installer

Here's a VirttualBox Windows 10 build 16215 updating. The VMware WS VM is at 61%. The HP Proliant is far less powerful than the Desktop machine which lost its power supply. It has a Xeon Processor operating at 1.333 MHz and only 10 GB of memory. Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16226 for PC-virtualbox_windows-10_22_06_2017_00_48_03.png

New "reveal" effect in Settings and Edge, these effects are not seen in light mode, at least in my case:

I don't have the link because I've just installed sysinternal's process explorer but searching for cftmon.exe lead me to determine you could use that free program to disable that process. It's a great program regardless.

UUPtoISOsetup.exe would not run on my VMware WS VM which is rebooting now to continue installing build 16226. If some kind soul could PM with a link to a 16266 ISO they have created I'd much appreciate it. Thanks fellow geeks.

From what i have attempted, and its been a few mins since it started was i disabled the Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service.

    Done the following:

    • Open Services MMC.
    • Scroll down to “Touch screen keyboard and handwriting panel”
      Right click and select Properties.
      Change Startup Type to Disabled.
      Click Apply.
Click on Stop for the service status.

This should stop it from attempting to start back up.

So far it is working, havent attempted a restart yet though. But its simple enough to do each time if needed until an official fix is done.

Was this the focus cycling problem?
