Screenshot from a VMware WS VM updating to build 16226 (I called the build). It was at 75% when I first noticed this early evening post. But I see nothing about WSL. I'll check that first thing and upload an anticipated error). Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16226 for PC-shared-windows-10-2017-06-21-20-21-34.png

I'm at Installing: 55% and progressing smoothly...Nothing in the fix notes about fixing d3d backwards-compatibility bugs, but that doesn't mean they haven't fixed it, of course...hope so...

Ran brinks tutorial, it went though but stopped at:
We're having some trouble downloading updates. Restarting your device may help.
but restarting never helped. Tried a system restore but that didn't go though. I guess I will have to wait for an iso.

    Here is the error:
    Failed to install on ‎6/‎21/‎2017 - 0x80240034

I'm sticking a bit at Installing 77%, for some reason, hope it is temporary...saw the note in fixed issues about the Wi-Fi, should have you fixed up!

OK, false alarm...just jumped to 83%...!...

    Upgrade from 16215

Like a few others, I'm sitting at 77% installing and 93% disk usage (75% thru 77% are taking forever). It looks like 1 hour 30 minute update. I miss the days of 20 minute start to rebooted installs. Just jumped to 83%.

    WEK

Edit: failed after first reboot at 20%. Error message: Last failed install attempt on ‎6/‎21/‎2017 - 0x80070643. Will try again.

Edit: Second time was not winner. Reverted back to 16215 with the same error at the same place in the upgrade. Will wait until tomorrow to do a cleanup and reinstall.
