    Downloaded 16226 on my hyper V machine...awaiting restart so I restarted but booted into installed version: 16215. Its done this a half dozen times...not much experience of virtual machines, any ideas?

    Virtual machines work and act as any physical machine. How / from where did you restart? Did you make an ISO and try upgrading from it?

    it run ok is there a way to jump and download the new version or it keeps stuck downloading 16215

    Restarted from prompt box within settings>windows update inside virtual machine. Updated from within the VM as per any normal update...no ISO

    Make the ISO and try upgrading with it: UUP to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 Build Upgrade Files Windows 10 Installation Upgrade Tutorials

    See post #24, #25 and #26. Lots of people downloaded 16215 so many times with failure and I suspect you may have corrupted windows update engine. By running @Brinks tutorial and following his directions you may be able to successfully update your build. Good luck.
