Did you do the search in DOWNLOAD for ext:esd ? That should have given you an esd file listed. Right click it, and open it's location. That is the directory you want for UUPtoISO.

    It's all in Kari's tut.
He's saying that it's in the folder as specified in the tut. Which is true. It's on a folder with a different name.[/QUOTE]

Ok. I'm confused. It's just so simple to find. Guess I'm not clear on what his problem really is. Why he can't find it.

Thanks to Waltc for posting the .NET fix: booting into safe mode did the trick for me on my balky Dell Venue Pro 7139. I found the following additional information quite useful to make that change, though:
    1. Use Winkey-R "Control Panel" to launch CP expeditiously, where you can access Programs and Features
    2. Use Winkey-R "msconfig.exe" to launch the System Configuration applet where you'll turn off safe boot and reboot to normal Win10

Added Bonus: This fixed my problem with Task Manager as well.
    Thanks again!

    Windows 10 preview 64-bit

Installed OK first time. Had to change settings in Malwarebytes again to enable Defender. Entering safe mode with networking, via power button + shift route, was OK. In safe mode Edge insists on opening to the support page, doesn't matter how often I close it, it will re-open. Some icons in the notification area keep disappearing and reloading and Start won't open. A bit unstable on my Laptop.

Triple Boot Windows 10 IP Build 17025/Windows Server 2016/Debian Sid

Has anybody actually seen Ubuntu in the Windows Store as this article seems to show. If it is there I should be able to find it in a 16215 or 16226 VM - but all I find are Ubuntu albums.

Might want to try and get an ISO. Mine installed perfectly without removing anything.

The 30% mark (as with all updates) is when Windows plants the boot files into the system reserved partition (temporarily) to reboot in order to install required dependency components before continuing the upgrade...thus, my guess is there lies the problem...

Also, right around the 30%-32% mark I've noticed the GPU drivers Windows picks are installed (should be the latest GPU driver for the hardware, but sometimes is not)--screen goes to blank for a few seconds as the GPU driver is initialized, then comes back at higher resolution without a reboot (on-screen text is noticeably smaller) if all goes well. At least, this is the way my upgrade installs always run. In the early days of Insider I had several builds to crash at that mark. Haven't seen a problem there for many months, IIRC. At any rate, after the install concludes I go ahead and do a clean install of the latest AMD Crimson GPU drivers, anyway.
