    Hello buddy,
why are you so pushy for 1703 build, it's not that good. I had it when it came out and I had to rolled back asap. It's maybe good for designers but not for gamers. My friend is using 1703 and he's mad, all games are laggy or keep crashing.

Hi mate, I'm probably not deep down wanting creators because I agree it is buggy. We've got it in one machine and it's causing some frustrations. I guess what rankles is why is it not coming through windows update over two months later from release. I'm not an Apple fan but there is non of this drip feeding new updates. Everyone gets it on release day. At the moment I use my desktop totally unsure, is creators gonna hit me today, tomorrow, in a week??? I don't really get MS logic! As for the VIP, I don't know how that come to be - maybe once you've reached a certain number of posts perhaps. That's probably one the moderators can answer better

    cheers

That's because Apple has rigid control over the hardware it's going to run on - Microsoft has to make their OS capable of running on anything from OEM hardware to home-brews.

Yep, it's a conscientious effort to deploy to the correct systems - hats-off to MS for that ..

GWX was haphazard and resulted in a lot of turmoil.

I have an nvidia GeForce GTX 560. Since this update came out, it has crashed my card. Despite rolling back the update, disabling the card, uninstalling the device drivers, then renabling and reinstalling the card and drivers, Windows still throws back an error 43.

    Any advice?

It was an offered update, not an update forced by me.

I've restarted the PC 3 times with the same result.

I clearly need to search for (0x800705b4) or download KB4022715 and apply manually when I have time but if anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears!
I got this on my laptop computer (but not my desktop on the same updates) for four straight days, though I normally hung at 2 or 3 oercent rather than your five. Tried rebooting (but not a cold boot), tried unchecking and rechecking the boxes that allow Update to search for other program updates, tried the Microsoft Troubleshooter. Nada. Nada. Nada. Began to get a little worried because it was failing on the KB.....15 update and never getting to those updates in line behind it, including for example a security update for Adobe Flash player.

So considered taking it in for some expert to look at, but then decided hey, just go to Download Windows 10 and skip all this, just force straight to Windows 10 Creator Update (1703). Did that. Took a while, of course, but the 1703 upgrade went fine. Then I ran Windows Update for Build 1703, it found a couple things (including a security update for Adobe Flash Player), and they updated fine. So forget it, KB4022715, I didn't need you and went right on by you :-)
