That's OK. I've been playing with Linux since about the time it took 11 5 1/4 in floppies to load Windows 95 on a machine with a 2GB ESDI that cost $1000 at the time. I forget how much RAM I had - might have been 1GB because need special programs to access RAM > 640K. Red Hat Linux (this was before Fedora) took 1 DVD as did SUSE Linux (before openSUSE).
Anyway, I breathe a sigh of relief when I can get back to the distro I've settled on for awhile which is Siduction. It uses the Debian unstable branch (or sid). It has the latest kernel which runs VMware and Virtualbox Linux folks love weird wordplay.
But if you have a like an old Pentium computer around a light version of Linux will work fine.
Linux gives me more control over the desktop than any version of Windows - even with programs like Start10 or Winstep etc.
Not sure if posting in correct spot or not, involves Build 16215 and wireless adapter.
Been using a Netgear WNDA3100v3 USB 2.0 wireless adapter in all 3 of my Insider builds - PRO - EDU - ENT for quite a while - no issues.
Can't load software, or update drivers in any of the 3 16215 installs.
Does anyone have a suggestion for an adapter that works with 16215?

When Windows 95 came along, I remember going up to 8 MB RAM.
It wasn't 11x 5.25 inch Floppies either - It was 13x 3.5" 1.68MB DMF format floppies, or a new-fangled CD-ROM!
