Gregorian calendar is the base for ISO 8601. We here have Gregorian calendar and follow ISO 8601 whereas you have a modified, not ISO 8601 calendar.

Kari, we can discuss this topic until we're blue in the face. Civically we follow the Judeo-Christian Gregorian, which is a modified Julian calendar. Until such laws are passed here governing otherwise that's what we'll follow so as there's no confusion. What you all do on the other side of the pond is your business. :)

Yes, I guess we're all getting stir crazy, especially those who couldn't update.

BTW, all is fine here in my 16215. Few flaws, but runs smoothly with no BSODs. Once in awhile when booting into it gets stuck spinning after the sign-in screen. I just hard reset, boot up again, and all is well.

If you have the ISO, it will clean install. I did it that way on 2 physical machines. Was less time and effort to reinstall my apps and settings than go thru hours of hurry-up-and-wait-and-fail! The WU method worked fine on all my VM's. Because, the boot process was under the VM Host (VMWare), not Windows.
I feel I should upload the ISO and install from a file since the disk drive is USB 3.0. I tried it before from the drive and it was a quick fail. Afterwards I read suggestions from others to disconnect any and all attached hardware.

I can't seem to be able to find the exact tweet but the link is above if you would like to look through 8,000 tweets. I am not even sure that is where I saw it, it could have been in a forum. I know that at some point in time she tweeted that if there will not be a build released that the insiders would be notified by 8:00AM Redmond time
I have not seen such a tweet, checking Dona's as well as WindoiwsInsider's tweets daily (in fact almost continuously, they are on my TweetDeck).

Kari, I do recall her saying something to that effect. Long time back, could have been February or March. During that time when not much was happening and people were anxious, and kinda complaining of not knowing. Can't pinpoint it, though.

I remember her once or twice saying something like "If there's no build tomorrow, I'll let you know early".

Not important, I just do not believe that if there's no "No build today" tweet before 9 AM her time, 6 PM my time, it automatically means a new build.
