The only problem with this is that there's no longer any "Windows Update" polices listed in the Local Group Policy anymore in at least this build. There should be a "Windows Update" folder under "Work Folders" in both "Computer Configuration" and "User Configuration".Windows Update improvements:
View your active Windows Update policies: If there are any applied group policies for Windows Update, a page will now appear in Windows Update Settings so you can look through them.
Is everyone else seeing the same?
Did you geeks notice that whereas the 32 bit 16215 upgrade was / is differential (tell tale = only one edition specific ESD file), the 64 bit upgrade was / is canonical (10+ small ESD files in folder from which you make the ISO)?
(From An update on our Unified Update Platform (UUP) - Windows Experience BlogWindows Experience Blog )A differential download package contains only the changes that have been made since the last time you updated your device, rather than a full build. Differential download packages rely on re-using files on your current OS to reconstruct the newer OS. This could include copying files as-is that have not changed between builds, or it could involve applying “binary deltas”¯ or “diffs”¯ to old files to generate newer files. Differential download packages are smaller and can take a shorter amount of time to download.
For a full build, we refer to this as a canonical download package. It is a self-contained update that contains all files for the update, and does not rely on any files on your device. Canonical download packages tend to be larger in size and may take longer to download.
At least my 32 bit W10 PRO on a tablet got differential upgrade, all my 64 bit machines a canonical one. That does not make sense, I know, that's why I am asking if someone could confirm this.
People wanted more builds, quicker releases. But don't like the consequences of such.
Is the tweaking.com tool safe? Is it any good on domain connected computers with roaming profiles and or folder redirection? I am having major 10 issues on my office machine (not insider)
