My point was that you seemed to be implying that powerline adapters were a solution for everyone, which it sadly is not. Was not arguing that people shouldn't try (assuming you can return the equipment if it doesn't work).

I just tried a cheap, USB, Realtek based WiFi adapter and after plugging and unplugging it 2 or 3 times it works just fine.
The WiFi issue affects 5y-old HP Compaq CQ57 Ralink RT5390 adapter on 16215 x86 - although it is reported as "Windows cannot initialise the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)" in Device manager. Worked OK on 16199.
Feedback hub will not work on this build, when connected to internet via wired ethernet.
This note from UUPtoISO tutorial (step 3.2):
NoteThere is a bug in builds 16193 and 16199 preventing user to select an option in a script like this tool. All that happens when you press 1, 2 or 3 as told above is a loud beep sound.
If this happens to you, use the temporarily fix posted in this post.
I will remove this notice when Microsoft has fixed the bug in coming builds.
Microsoft has fixed this bug in build 16215, the fix is no longer needed if / when running UUPtoISO in build 16215, and it is not needed when running UUPtoISO in build 16188 or older.
Sorry Kari already had edited that out, having read back a page or two on your tut, while you replied.
Kado, I had reinstalled the Feedback hub from the store, but still failed to connect.
