Does anyone know what folder the download saves to? I’ve had this problem before but it’s been a while. I’ve found that deleting the download and letting it re-download works..

    Hmphhhhhhhh! I has no Internet!
There was a warning about WiFi "Wi-Fi will get turned off on certain devices like the Surface Pro 1 and Surface Pro 2 and some USB devices and won’t work due to a driver issue. To get Wi-Fi working again, you will have to roll-back to the previous build."

Downloaded and installed fine for me, aside from a 20ish minute wait at 59%.

Everything seemed great up until I went to restart into safe mode with DDU to reinstall my GPU driver. After the restart, I got stuck in a GSOD loop with System Thread Exception Not Handled which pointed at mssecflt.sys as the issue.

I've rolled back to CU for now.

I'm pleased to say that all of the gaming problems I had experienced are gone!... Tides of Numenera ran again first time! A nice surprise! 16215 Build installed easily, first time, no hiccups, through WU upgrading 16199. A note about DDU--even the author does not recommend that people use it on a regular basis--I found through my experience that DDU causes more problems than it's worth--it sometimes deletes more than it should, etc. If the drivers include new methods of installation or uninstallation DDU might not be updated to handle them, etc. I use nothing except the AMD Crimson drivers themselves for install and uninstallation--and simply don't have any problems. They don't require safe mode for installation or uninstallation, etc.

Yep, what I thought, Count. My system is an HP 500-056, so shouldn't be affected, but yeppers, it is.

Update went "well" in that when I finished, I had Build 16215 . . . But that ain't the end of the story.

First off, I had to turn off fast startup; it takes two tries to boot the system otherwise.

But my worst problem is that for whatever reason, Build 16215 took out my WiFi! And it cannot be found anywhere! So, I have a system that cannot get online and so far, nothing I've done has helped.

I had to boot into my CU partition in order to get online . . .
Possibly because of this known issue? See post #1.

There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: Windows 10 Insider Preview 16215.1000 (rs_prerelease) - Error 0x80d02002
Half a dozen attempts with the same result each time. This one doesn't seem to want to install for whatever reason.

Honestly, if you're at home and you can possibly work it out, go wired--it's immune to interference, much faster, more secure than wireless all around. I converted our home to 100% wired years ago and have never had occasion to look back with any regrets at all... These days, I only go wireless when the job requires me to. It's definitely second-rate, imo.
