I think my PC may have got to its limit with Insider builds. I was never able to install 16199 and now 215 crashes at the first reboot (30%) with an inaccessible boot device error. Added to losing the FA Cup final, Costa leaving and the Tories losing seats; it's been a bad three weeks

    16215

Time to take the plunge. Starting now. I'll wish me luck

Took abut an hour an twenty minutes. I long for the 20 minute upgrades from builds past.

After downloading, installing and restarting, I am back to where I started. Maybe it will work the second time.

Inaccessible Boot Device! That's the excuse 16215 gives for not being able to continue installing at 30%. I double checked and Secure Boot is still turned off. Since all previous rs builds had no problem in that department and 16199 doesn't once it's restored, I'm assuming the fault is 100% in 16215.

The second attempt failed. Twice the installer reported it ran into a problem and restarted. The third time it restored 16199. I did get an error code 0x80070643. I think that means problem with the installer program. :-( Maybe Microsoft geeks will be hard at work tonight.

That sounds about right to me.
Let my machine try a couple of more times with the same results. Seems like a few are having luck with it. Must be slightly different versions floating around. Giving up on this thing for now, We'll see what M$ says about it all tomorrow.

I'm at the installing phase. It went along ok until 26%, then slowed way down. When it got to 30% it started clipping along again. 40% ATM.
