My desktop was stuck at 33% for well over an hour. I hit the reset button, and it booted back into 16199. Now it is attempting to download 16215 again.
Laptop upgrade perfectly fine.
Second attempt at install failed a bit sooner than the first, around 18%. Error code same: 0x80070643.
It also inserted a check 0x8024a105 for update failures.
Ran Update Troubleshooter and it found Service Registration Missing Or Corrupt....fixed.
Seeing quite a few having the same problems in Windows Feedback.

I don't mind the slow download as it's a Election night (Fun-tastic)
- once again, had to do the msconfig trick to enable maximum cores and Memory..
- also set ULPS in Trixx..
- still testing..:)
I seem to be having issues printing under the new build to my HP Laserjet 4000. Tested with the built in PS drivers and with PCL6 universal print driver. Neither seems to work, although both printers appear to have been installed correctly. Printer is online and pinging on my network. Rebooted PC and printer.
Any thoughts, Win testers?
I totally agree with the slowness.
There must be something BIG about this update.
But I think, the degree of slowness is location based.
Here in Toronto, Canada, on a wired machine, it took me 59mins to complete the update.
Here's how it unfolded...
Started the update at 9:15pm (ETA),
It took 35mins to get to 40% installation.
First Restart after 39mins...
All done in almost an hour...
Tried to install 16215 twice on my Surface 4. Install rebooted, made it to 32% installed and choked both times, then automatically rolled back to 16199.
EDIT: Make that 3 times now. Changed my connection to metered to stop it from trying again.
