    I still have some slide rules for calculating different aspects of machining, like feeds and speeds for cutting tools and drills as well as hydraulics and pneumatics. Every time I got different tool supplier I would get some kind of slide rule and wall charts to get most out of their tools and/or equipment. I didn't use slide rules for math but my father thought me how to use them even as far as elementary school although the wouldn't let me use it than.

    While I was in School we couldn't even use Calculators, remember the Texas Instr. ?SR-52? with red LED.

    NOW..........School kids use iPads, tablets, etc.

    In grade school we had large abacus next to blackboard. I also had a pencil with rotary slide for multiplication table confiscated.

    I am sorry but I must say this: regarding how many newbies browse our Ten Forums to find tips and tricks to get started with Windows 10, your post is quite irresponsible!

    Not only does following your instructions completely remove (uninstall) those apps, it also makes it if not impossible but at least extremely difficult to get them re-installed if you change your mind, not to mention that it makes it impossible to get new apps because your list also includes Windows Store.
    The start menu bug in 1703 arise immediately after a clean install (since at least 15025) before doing any modification. These command lines are well known ( way before 10240) and are helpful (up to a point) to recover stability in the start menu of Redstone 2 and 3.

    Here's the command line that reinstall them back to previous state in Powershell ISE (admin):

    Code:
    Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
    From the apps list, we must pin them to start again.

    I realize now, how I made my "mistake" about no more 16215PC Download.

    I was on SLOW and I changed to FAST. I waited about 15 minutes for the change to happen. I remember last week SLOW to FAST change took less than a minute to happen. Well I guess 15 minutes was not long enough presently. I jumped the gun and went looking for Download Builds. I guess I should have waited 30 - 60 minutes for "FAST" Ring to kick-in !!

    SORRY !!

    Well, this is the furthest I’ve gotten with the install. Now at 51%. If you’ve got Acronis True Image 11 and Disk Director 12 installed, try uninstalling them, restart, and retry updating..
    I had tried everything I read, etc. to get this update to install and always a green screen. Based on the comment from mlewis4700, I uninstalled Acronis True Image 2017 and was able to install 16215 using an iso I created with UUPtoISO. Thanks for the info.
