Yes. If it be compatible, which most likely will be.

Now please....lets have none of these........ I must be blessed comments.
As a Brit, you will know what I mean when I say I must be related to Jose Mourihno with this build - took ages to install, minor glitch but came good in the end - bit like MU this season. I must be a "Special One" .

I cut off my landline and used the money to upgrade my internet subscription and got a VOIP service with an initial investment of $150 including the porting of my landline number so I can continue using the same number. Since then (7 years ago), I am not paying a cent for a landline anymore.
I've been thinking of getting my own, but at this point, there aren't all that many ISPs to choose from. I really want to go back to cable, since I have a modem/router combo that isn't being used. I had just bought it a few weeks before we moved from Texas to Arkansas.

Seems as how they all think they're the only game in town and want more than $50 per month for something less than 15 mbps.

Wynona here is a pic of the general idea.
You would need to setup one of your unused routers as a wireless bridge. Your daughter's setup would be the one on the left and you would be the one on the right.

Basically, Wynona, if the router firmware allows it, you set the router to disable its own DHCP, to the same SSID, security settings, and Channel as the main WiFi in your home, and it acts as a dumb repeater and hub or switch for the Ethernet ports on it.
You can even use a PC with a WiFi connection and a spare Ethernet port in the same way.

Thanks, Hippsie. After reading for awhile and thinking about it, it seems like a pretty straightforward process.

I have a Linksys AC1600 Router that I can use, and went to the site to get directions for this particular one.

At this point, I think I will need to create my own thread in the Network and Sharing Forum. I have some questions that will need further discussion, and since this thread is for Windows 10 Build 16215, well, you know . . .

Are you saying what I think you're saying, Fafhrd? That I could hook my Lappy to this Desktop? And do the same thing? Or am I over simplifying things?
