Honestly, if you're at home and you can possibly work it out, go wired--it's immune to interference, much faster, more secure than wireless all around. I converted our home to 100% wired years ago and have never had occasion to look back with any regrets at all...

These days, I only go wireless when the job requires me to. It's definitely second-rate, imo.
- I tend to agree. Wherever it's possible, a wired connection seems to be less problematic..
- same applies to the Xbox One internet connection, as well..

No way to go wired in this house, Walt.
We're completely wireless and here I sit with one router and a cable modem/router combo that I cannot use.
I'm rolled back to 16199, so I'll just have to wait until the issue gets fixed.

I wish I could use my ethernet cable, Roy, but no such luck. This house is completely wireless.

Possibly because of this known issue? See post #1.
Wi-Fi will get turned off on certain devices like the Surface Pro 1 and Surface Pro 2 and some USB devices and won’t work due to a driver issue. To get Wi-Fi working again, you will have to roll-back to the previous build.
I'm now rolled back to Build 16199, TC. It works.

I would if I could, Bug, but I can't.

Yes you can. Use powerline adapter. That's what I do.
I am working from home right now and I have my office laptop connected wired to the internet from one of my wall outlets.

Powerline adapters don't work for a lot of households, particularly where there are multiple circuit boxes, or multi-phase power.. sometimes homes are even just wired completely bonkers.
I've used the powerline adapters though, and find them to be less reliable than wireless in my experience.

Too bad for you. Never failed on me,
But that doesn't mean @Wynona shouldn't try.
