Me neither, I only have 4 PC's, no phones or tablets etc. I only use two of those 4 PC's daily. One is my wife's laptop and she has her own account. Some of the Apps I use likely don't count anyway. I'm thinking a lot if not all of the Microsoft preinstalled Apps are exempt anyway. Stuff like the Weather App. And all the ones you can't uninstall anyway.
Ok. I see your point. Last I knew the average American family had 2.5 kids. Trouble is that there are some of us that had more. One of my brothers and I had six each whereas my other ten siblings had the 2.5 average, maybe a little more > One with none, one with one, four with two, three with three, and a brother and his wife whom had quads. Yes, a large family of twelve!
Two factors that I feel doesn't make this subject/fact such a big deal that the author makes it out to be.
1) Mobile devices, especially phones would have to have different MS accounts to gain personal data, yes? I realize they can be run under the same account, but highly unlikely. Maybe a tower PC with different PC accounts, but it's getting to be where families don't even have one. They're buying personal mobile devices these days. That's including lappies or convertibles.
2) We're not talking programs such as Office suite or a CAD program at hundreds or thousands of dollars here. They're nickel and dime apps. (That's not meant to degrade the quality of the apps.)
Actually I just found out if you are an Windows Insider it may not be that hard to reach the 10 Device limit. As I Upgraded or Clean Installed each new build a new device name was added to the list of Devices associated with the M$ Account in use.
I now have 6 devices listed in use, some devices are related to Win 10 Insider Preview and some devices may also be related to my using the same M$ Account for Windows 8 machines.
To check the current device name in use for the newest build go to System > Settings > About (If you have not renamed the PC)
After verifying the name of the PC currently in use some of the other devices can be removed if they are from older builds.

One of the first things I do after an install is change the name. Now I'm not sure which is the legit one.
Devices with apps and games you downloaded from the Store
Remove a device if you're trying to install an app or a game on a Windows 10 device and you've reached your device limit.
You can also reach this setting from the MS store, User Icon > Settings
