@Kari Hmm, yeah, I just used Edge's built in import option to grab them directly from Chrome. That may have been the issue. Either way, I've got it sorted now, so I may give Edge another shot for a week or so.

OK, that explains it. My .xml file was exported from Edge, favicons populated at the moment of export. Stupid of me not to think of that, of course I have the favicons imported as I import an Edge favorites .xml file.

Here are list of things I found issues in this build or issues before this build:

1. Network computers unable to map, undiscoverable or workgroup is not working.
2. People/Contacts missing - Microsoft Account.
3. Missing fonts - Some options are missing in Regional & Language > Add a language > Chinese (Taiwan) > Options
4. OneDrive automatically sync Documents & Pictures to This PC's sub-directory's Documents & Pictures (maybe this is a new feature.
5. Photo tile no more live.

1. No: Absolutely no networking / homegroup / domain / drive mapping issues
2. No: All contacts shown and working for all Microsoft accounts
3. No: All regional and language options available and working (although only using languages with Latin based alphabet / fonts)
4. No: This PC > Documents folder only showing contents of %userprofile%\Documents, Pictures %userprofile%\Pictures
5. Yes: Photos app live tile not working
