Not to be a killjoy, but to be honest, I haven't been excited about new features or anything they've worked on in quite some time now. It just seems that they spend a lot of time working on things most people don't use, like Edge. I don't know, I might be in the minority on here. jmho.
Lots of people use Edge, and numbers are growing.

I do partly agree though - I find MS seem more interested in sating the obsession people have with making it look nice (e.g. project Neon) than adding new actual features for example:

Improve disk management to have features only seen in 3rd part tools.

Get Hyper-v to allow sound in "basic" vms.

    A replacement for windows moviemaker

Develop gui tools for boot editing

I can't blame MS on this error, because my Wife is not an Insider and she gets it also...............ever since the last "fix" from Macrium Reflect. Only way to safely remove USB device is REBOOT !!

    Attachment 135758
If it is a Compact Mass Storage Device, (not a thumb drive), and it's listed as a Basic Disk in Disk Management, then it may be being 'watched' by Defender, or it has Indexed Locations, or other.
You will need to 'Take it Offline' in Disk Management first by right clicking in the left box area and selecting 'Offline'. (This may 'break' executable or indexing paths!)
Then you will be able to eject it.

Thanks for those, Edwin, but those free Store apps that are OS integrated don't work well. You need to pay for and run 3rd party apps.

I'm with you 100% smactilactus. I hate EDGE, always did, never used it. Turned CORTANA off since it was first introduced. Plus all the new MS "fluff" and MS forgetting to fix ongoing "bugs"
