Kado, that was Dona's answer to question why they were releasing 16203 yesterday instead of one of later builds. Dona did not say they will not release anything, she just explained why they will release a bit older build 16203.

They were releasing 16203 yesterday and I still believe it will be released today, however the cock up they had yesterday (see links at end of this post), accidentally releasing wrong builds, ones not mention to be released have caused an unforeseen delay.

Anyway, Dona or any other member from Microsoft's Windows Insider team have posted nothing to implicate there will be no build this week.

Read your link about the unintentional release. The last line reads.

We will not be releasing new builds to any of the rings this week.

Seems pretty definite to me Kari but time will tell.

Anyway, the tweet Kado referred to and what I commented, that was about to explain why they intended to release 16203 yesterday, not to say there will be no builds.

What happened then after that Dona's tweet caused a delay, and it now seems clear we will have nothing today.

In these days of instant information, we get bombarded with stuff and easy to miss things.

IMO MS has a spectacular inability to say things simply and clearly, in a well structured release, so by the time you get to end of release, one's brain has switched off - so no wonder we all miss things.

Actually, I find the MS releases tend to be aimed at 5 year olds, or guys with brains the size of a planet (Marvin), tending to either say for example:

Next to nothing i.e.

"we fixed a bug"

or they say complete technical gobbledygook like

The dynamic file manipulation table has been auto-inverted to rectify the interphasing of volume shadow copy tasks"
