Win+Shift+S works great too, especially if you just need a small part of your screen instead of a full screenshot.

    This.

This snipping tool let's you use delay with rectangular screenshot selection as well. Don't have to take the whole screen.

Thanks, Edwin, but I try not to use 3rd party if at all possible. :)

Thank you. I knew about the Snipping tool, but it takes longer as seen below.

Thank you. Best solution yet, IMO. And just when I thought I knew a lot of combo keys. I suppose it's been around awhile too.

So, it's just that the Windows key doesn't allow for the delay is what it is.

    With that, I'll post with Alt/S. :)

With WIN+shift+S you don't need delay, since you can snip the screenshot at time you want (WIN key won't hide context menu etc...) It's like Snip tool lite

I think it hit insider builds a little before the Creator's Update. As Andre says, Win+Shift+S is great because you don't need a delay, the screen just stays in snip mode until you make your selection. It's one of my favorite features of Windows 10 so far.

Thanks, Andre, but what I meant was is the WinKey doesn't allow the delay. With some research, it forces the screen to a new state. In other words it suppresses the graphical subsystem GUI feature.

Thanks. That makes me feel better that it's fairly new. I need to catch up on the new combo keys.

It is a great feature indeed. :)
