Ok thanks - i'm just baffled as to why MS aren't pushing this down windows update like I'd expect

Ok thanks. It's driving me a bit stir crazy this drip feeding of updates. I prefer to let windows update handle things rather than force the issue manually. Trouble is don't know where I stand. Is there something wrong with my pc / windows update because it's not being offered or finding the KB - or is this intentional behaviour from MS!

I had the same problem. It's bug from Microsoft. It found me 6 updates (4 for office), one for security and last one for flash.
I had to do it manually too. Never had this problem before though. Maybe its on stages, so if we waited a bit more, we would get it too via windows update.

Thanks - I will wait for now. Not impressed with MS. First they withhold creators update with staged release & now this latest KB appears to be going same way.

I just checked for the update and am getting this: Was on 1607 14393.1066

Ah your getting the creators update now rather than this KB. I just checked with a few relatives on 1607 and none of them are getting this KB. Something is up at MS for sure

Yes and then at the last moment, the 9472 showed up?? (added to #17)

Ten minutes ago I manually checked for updates via Windows update and finally it decided to show up. Lord knows why the delay nearly 3 hours after it should of gone public. Installing now and keeping everything crossed it doesn't cause any issues - seems to be spending a long time on 'preparing to configure Windows, don't turn off your computer' at the moment
