    no matter what I do, I cant get the people toolbar to show...I'm using window blinds, so that might be it

    I often have the same, I usually open the setting from the taskbar, switch off the People Bar then switch it back on.
    (Also use Windows Blinds)

    i tried that, but it didnt work, so I stopped window blinds and rebooted, and now it shows!

    I have worked on problem with People with Brink. We've tried everything, including a in place install. Still no People app.

    Did anybody try this:

    Create File Explorer UWP app Shortcut in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Customization Tutorials

    Make a new file on desktop and enter text: explorer shell:
    AppsFolder\c5e2524a-ea46-4f67-841f-6a9465d9d515_cw5n1h2txyewy!App
    That should result in UWP version of File Explorer.
