... seems all Edge and integrating existing PDF stuff... I would have thought the "Changes, improvements, and fixes for PC" takes precedence over the "What’ New in Build 16188 For PC"...

Just a thought regarding where their priorities lie... Insiders that report problems are the ones that should be primarily addressed .. IMHO (as always)
Why? These builds should be to add new features and functions, correction of bugs and problems in October, before releasing RS3 to the whole public.

Because correction of bugs needs to be tested before signed-off... that can only happen when the fix is properly tested. why wait 'till October to find out that the "fix" was incorrect?

Yes Edwin, but you are a true Insider. After a new install, see if I can break it

So they will only dedicate themselves to correct bugs all the time and will not add any new functions to the system? As insider I prefer new functions regardless of bugs, after that they devote all the time they want to correct problems, for that is the Fast ring, if you do not want bugs change to the Slow ring or Release preview.

I have to agree wholeheartedly--we need to address some issues since that is what our feedback is about, IMHO. New items are fine but fixes are first and foremost.

No, forget the "Christmas present" thing... in development you need a working stable system before adding new features.

Thank God... a voice of reason.

If they dedicated 100% of time and effort fixing things, we'd never get anything new.
