This UWP file explorer is present since the build 14936 of RS2 and since that time has not changed anything, It's funny that onMSFT and Neowin published articles about it 2 days ago as if it were something new, that trick to activate it has been known for 7 months:

Nice Count and Kari! How would I save that string in order to call up this version of File Explorer when I want to find a particular file?

Yep! I had that too. But it was easy to go back up the ladder to the original.

Open it as told earlier with WIN + R, right click UWP Explorer in Taskbar and pin it:



My taskbar is vertical at left but you get the point.
