Goodness sake! While some custom Reg tweaks remain, Windows always deletes custom EQ setting and enables that stupid 'Loudness Equalization'!
Interesting...not happening here...usually they are carried forward or not at all. I never use the loudness EQ option...Hmmmm....I still got the drop-out to black screen at the end--did you get it as well this install?

I've noticed the same Event, but different MS site. Could be false, or some servers got infected..
Most likely it is Bit Defender that maybe cannot trusted, yes? Mmmmm... Schemes within schemes, plans within plans--he-heh...

As a matter of thoroughness, I always reinstall GPU/sound-card drivers after every OS upgrade install, even if the device manager tells me that nothing is rotten in Denmark...

Huzzah! I finally am able to get updates. I had to wipe windows tho. I finally found that Windows was broke and I could not fix the issue as I had already deleted the 16170 update files and so could not run DISM.
Moral of the story, if Windows will not update run BOTH of these and fix the errors:
    chkdsk /r
    sfc /scannow

    Does anyone else have these:

After upgrading last night to build 16184 I am seeing these users profile. Is it safe to remove it?
I do not have any of them on my Windows 10 Home installation:

However, they may be related to the Internet Information Services (IIS) optional component if you have it installed:

I'm not sure but you may need IIS if you are running a web server; however, you can also wait for additional help.

    Good luck,

    Absolutely, my friend! :)
Well, as a non-poweruser, I appreciate posts like Edwin's - it's what Insiders are supposed to test (all scenarios... ) it's not about friendship or fanboyism but knowledge and insight
