Have my Dell hybrid tablet running 16184, but am hanging fire on the desktop. I want to reinstall Enterprise Insider after replacing the motherboard and SSD, but the ISO files (and other Insider Preview) downloads are MIA right now. Check
    Download Windows 10
    Download Windows 10 Academic
Download Windows 10 Insider Preview ISO
to see if that's still the case.
    Best wishes,

Yes, assigned a drive letter to the recovery partition, renamed the partition to "recovery" via explorer, and then unassigned the drive letter. See here:

Thank you WOT...however you are optimizing the recovery partition? With a SSD is that necessary? Sorry for my confusion. Again thanks for your help.

Anybody got an ISO of Enterprise 64-bit made? I'd like to do my clean install this weekend, but the ISOs are MIA right now (see my earlier post). I can handle Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive links quite nicely. Feel free to PM with details. TIA,

Anyone having Chrome probs? Maybe coincidence, but now Chrome pops up a profile error window and all favicons have gone. The bookmarks are still there, including names, but the icon is blank.

I have copied the Chrome Userdata folder from a backup and it still errors. Seems weird that replacing that folder makes no difference.

Under AppData/Local/Google/Update there are two folders written at 16184 update time. One is 1.3.33.5 with many dlls and googleupdate.exe and GoogleUpdateSetup.exe in it and the other is a download folder for the 1.3.33.5 folder.

From this, I assume that there was, or should have been, a google update process, and, in my case, there was a malfunction.

Difficult to know how to proceed.

I am not optimizing the recovery partition. I only used that view to show the before and after. You cannot optimize the recovery partition on an SSD because it just does not work. This is only a cosmetic issue and it has no other effect. I just wanted to see it named properly and that is all.
