I have a file .849C9593-D756-4E56-8D6E-42412F2A707B in my OneDrive folder. Don't know what it does. Maybe some kind of lock file?
I'd try disconnecting the OneDrive client from the account, find and delete the hidden OneDriveTemp folder, reboot and set the client up again

Thanks for the info. And yeah, it's definitely locked... as in locking in a sync issue

Anyway I posted the issue here - OneDrive Sync Issue

    Thanks.

Has anyone who actually upgraded noticed that OneDrive is continuing to sync files? Since upgrading to 10 on Wednesday One drive has been trying to sync this file...
Your screenshot shows that the file in question is located in root of OneDrive, not in a folder. This just might work:

Go to OneDrive Settings, unselect Files not in a folder, click OK:

Wait OneDrive to process the changes. When the icon in notification area doesn't show the sync overlay anymore, check that this file really is not on OneDrive cloud storage. If it is there, delete it, then back to Settings and re-select Files not in a folder and let local OneDrive to get your files again.

That is a favorite with bootlegged windows to upgrade from.
Really!? So, they get a bootlegged copy of Windows 7 or 8.1 and disconnect from the Internet to upgrade to Windows 10?

And they justify it by saying the owner companies charges too much . . . which is the exact reason everything's so high in the first place.

For some, free (with conditions), just isn't free enough.

Oh well, China is even worse, they recon there's no legal windows there almost at all and there's many more of them, whole of Serbia has less people than Beijing itself. Commercial and companies are checked and there are very stringent rules to prove legality, have even to produce bill of sale. Nobody checks home use and MS is not too interested either and is also helping a lot, all schools for instance got free windows and so did lower grades students. There's a lot of volume licenses for students and local MS office gave away hundreds of W7 licenses when it came out.
Don't know now but few years ago Bulgaria supplied something like 70% of bootlegged SW in the world. Than China took over.
I got my W7 free from local MS office (it's regional MS center in Belgrade, did some work for them ) and upgraded to W8 with that ultra cheap offer at the beginning. Now going to free W10 and will have super legal W10 for 14 bucks I think that upgrade was. There's no way I could afford 200 bucks for windows now, would rather keep Linux.
Many here took advantage of insider preview and will keep on using it. There may be more of legal windows than I counted on because second hand computers coming from Germany and Austria are sold here or 50% of people could not afford computer at all. 400 Euro is average salary here.

wow. just wow. So, if China were to pay for all their OS software, we would probably be paying $30 for it here instead of $120....wow...
