Download finished, $Windows.~BT is 4.39 GB on disk size, $Windows.~WS only 40 GB. No offer to do actual upgrade yet. I'll let it simmer overnight and see what happens in the morning.

I remember reading somewhere here that someone did this. They selected "Stop Receiving Insider Builds", and computer did several restarts, then everything was as it should be. He did this BEFORE 7/29. But, I could not tell you the thread I read it in...so, I could be mistaken - there's just been too much information over the past few days.
Is it weird that I miss the rush that comes with expecting a new "insider" build of Win10? I need my fix, damn it!
I plan on doing almost the same thing on my desktop. I have a dual boot setup on two separate drives. My main drive (SSD) that I upgraded my Win 8.1 to Win 10 TP. Drive two (HDD) Has Win 10 TP clean installed and not a upgrade. Win 8.1 was the core version and I upgraded to 10 Pro. I want to drop out of the insider program on my SSD. I'm sure I'll have to switch to the home version when I do. The Win 10 install on the HDD I want to stay on the insider program. I have a image of Windows 8.1 just before the Win 10 upgrade if I need it.
