You use AVG on a HP Pavilion mini with an i3? Doesn't that bog down your system? How much RAM does that eat?
I don't know about the RAM, but windows 10 seems to run fast enough.

What are the advantages of AVG than Defender? I quitted AVG since Defender's available.

Groze, I do not claim to have perfect knowledge of the situation - all I'm saying is that MS has been very careful throughout to say that the upgraded license is good for the life of the device. That implies to me that it is not transferable. Believe me, I would be delighted to be proved wrong! :)
There is no reason to guess on this. It's very clearly spelled out in the EULA. This is official legally binding license.

You can read it yourself, open a command prompt and type Winver, then click the link on the dialog labeled "Microsoft Software License Terms" to read the license terms. Scroll to Section 4.

Transfer. The provisions of this section do not apply if you acquired the software as a consumer in Germany or in any of the countries listed on this site (aka.ms/transfer), in which case any transfer of the software to a third party, and the right to use it, must comply with applicable law.
    a. Software preinstalled on device. If you acquired the software preinstalled on a device (and also if you upgraded from software preinstalled on a device), you may transfer the license to use the software directly to another user, only with the licensed device. The transfer must include the software and, if provided with the device, an authentic Windows label including the product key. Before any permitted transfer, the other party must agree that this agreement applies to the transfer and use of the software.
    b. Stand-alone software. If you acquired the software as stand-alone software (and also if you upgraded from software you acquired as stand-alone software), you may transfer the software to another device that belongs to you. You may also transfer the software to a device owned by someone else if (i) you are the first licensed user of the software and (ii) the new user agrees to the terms of this agreement. You may use the backup copy we allow you to make or the media that the software came on to transfer the software. Every time you transfer the software to a new device, you must remove the software from the prior device. You may not transfer the software to share licenses between devices.

    Here's a method that works:

Enable 'Use check boxes...' in File Explorer Options

    Attachment 26047

    then:

    Attachment 26048

    and:

    Attachment 26049

then check the selection box to reveal options above:

    Attachment 26050
    Thanks, Edwin

I thoroughly agree. I've been beta testing Windows since the times of XP, and this is the first time I see the core system showing so many fundamental problems with just a few days away. I really hope Microsoft gets its act together with it.

PS: They need to think this automatic update thing through if they're going to fix something and break something else in the process

Or, you need to rethink being a Windows Insider. The whole point of the Insider program is for us to be "guinea pigs" and get these updates first to make sure things don't break, but that also means we as Insiders will see these problems, but the non-insiders won't because we will have already taken the bullet for them.
