    I notice however, that the slmgr command shows that this is the Retail Channel... I wish I knew what was going on. I wonder if anyone does?

    I did a clean install of 10240 yesterday, and when I went to Updates and checked for Fast/Slow, it said "Get Started". Soooo, I did. Entered the MS acct I already used for Insiders, it went thru a couple gyrations, and all was back the way it was. Checked insider hub and all profile data, dates, etc... all there. so... guess so.

    As long as I stay with the TP program I will use Defender. In Windows 7 I use Avast Internet Security and if I upgrade Win 7 to Windows 10 I will continue to use AIS.
