Isn't that just a mvp saying it and I don't see the official announcement that the build 10240 is the rtm.
I just read about the rtm
SourceThis week also saw the company release the Windows 10 RTM to Insiders. Microsoft originally stated that they would not be rolling out the Windows 10 RTM to Insiders until July 29th, so it's very interesting to see them backtrack on that statement. Regardless, Microsoft did not officially announce that build 10240 is the RTM, even though it is. You can also head over here to check out some of the screenshots from build 10240, but you wont notice anything visually different compared to previous build
Since build 10240 is the OFFICIAL RTM version of Windows 10, I just dropped out of the insider program through the "update and security" settings section. This required an immediate restart and then an update and another restart. I guess that I am using a fully registered RTM version of Windows 10.
